Programs and Services
The Epilepsy Foundation of North Carolina offers the following services:
- Public education aimed at eliminating stigma and discrimination
- Statewide helpline to answer questions and concerns of those with epilepsy and their families as well as the public
- Medication assistance for those meeting financial guidelines
- Information and referral
- Free packets of educational materials
- Support Groups
- Patient Advocacy
- Patient education sessions
- Patient and family counseling
- Transportation assistance to medical centers
- Camps-NC is most fortunate to have two wonderful camps that serve children with epilepsy. The Foundation works closely with these camps and encourages participation of children with epilepsy.
